Can I purchase festival tickets without camping?

All 3-Day Festival Passes INCLUDE CAMPING.  We do not charge extra to camp at Rhythms on the Rio.

We have always aimed to make ROTR as accessible as we can for EVERYONE.  That’s why we keep our tickets extremely affordable and include camping in the price.

If you plan on coming to the festival without camping, we hope you’ll see the value you are still getting in this ticket price for a 3-Day festival with top-tier talent.

Plus, ROTR is a non-profit for the South Fork Music Association, with your ticket cost directly benefiting school music programs throughout the San Luis Valley.

Can I camp with a single-day ticket?

Camping is for 3-Day ticket holders only.

As a 100% volunteer-run festival for a non-profit, we do not have the staff to monitor the logistics of allowing multiple types of camping passes.

Can we reserve a spot to camp with a group?

We aren’t able to reserve group spots, but if you arrive with your group together we will do our best to ensure that you are all camped together.

At Rhythms on the Rio, we are ALL one big group!  Enjoy your new neighbors – we’re sure you’ll be fast friends!

What types of camping are available?

We have walk-in tent camping, car tent camping, and RV sites available.

Please view the Camping section on the Venue Information Page for more info.

Is parking included?

Yes, for all vehicles under 20′ in length, not pulling a trailer, camping is included in your festival pass.

For vehicles over 20′ and vehicles pulling trailers, an RV pass is required.

For single-day ticket holders who are not camping, parking is included.

More info

Are there RV hookups?

No – all sites are primitive.  Time to unplug, relax and enjoy nature and the music!

Can we use generators in the campground or RV area?

No. We keep our campgrounds peaceful and filled with the sounds of laughter and acoustic guitars, instead of the hum of gas generators.  (Solar generators are welcome!)

Is there a family camping area?

There is a designated ‘quiet’ camping area.

All of our campgrounds typically remain quiet and tame throughout, as Rhythms is known as a family-friendly festival.

We do have a late-night music tent, which is on the opposite and of the campground as the ‘quiet’ area, and maintains a separate space for those wishing to extend the partying without disturbing others.

Do I need an RV pass for a boat/raft trailer?

No. We will accommodate you in the day-parking area. (you will likely have to unhook from your vehicle)

Ticketing FAQ:

Can we transfer or sell our tickets if we can't make it?

Yes, you can transfer tickets through the Humanitix ticket platform.

Click the Edit Order button in the order confirmation email you received with your purchase. Using the form, you can update your order details.

Please do not post tickets for sale on the Rhythms on the Rio Facebook Page or Group.

Our suggestion is that you post on your personal page, and list the tickets on CashOrTrade.org. It is free to use, and the platform is a safe place for tickets to be sold and exchanged between fans.

PLEASE BEWARE OF SCAMMERS!  There are many people on social media claiming to have resale tickets.  As far as we can determine, every single one has been a scam.

Will tickets be available at the gate?

We will have tickets available to purchase at the gate, while they last!

We strongly suggest purchasing tickets online before the festival, as we sold out at the gate last year!

Other FAQ:

Are dogs allowed at Rhythms on the Rio?

YES!  Well-behaved dogs are allowed in the camping area, ON LEASH at all times.

Dogs are NOT permitted in the festival (stage) area.

ROTR PET POLICY

Is Busses on the Rio still happening?

Unfortunately, the Busses on the Rio group has relocated and will not be joining us at ROTR in 2023.

Please feel free to proudly come to the festival with your VW Busses  – if you don’t have an RV pass, we will still be able to accommodate your vehicle if it is less than 20’ in length.

Are fires allowed at Rhythms?

Only propane fire rings are allowed.

Propane grills are also permitted – NO wood or charcoal!

Should we bring bikes?

YES! Del Norte, CO is surrounded by a wealth of trails for mountain biking and ultra-cycling, or just a leisurely spin through the beauty of the San Luis Valley.

Plus, while the downtown Del Norte area is a short walk from the festival, after dancing all day you might prefer a bike ride to a stroll!

Get all of the info you need – including trail maps – from our friends at Del Norte Trails Organization” https://www.delnortetrails.org/

Is there river access from the campground?

The river can be accessed directly across the street from the festival grounds, at the amazing new Del Norte River Park!
