RHYTHMS ON THE RIO FAQ
Camping and Parking FAQ:
What time does the campground open?

Can I purchase festival tickets without camping?
Yes. 3-Day Festival Passes DO NOT INCLUDE CAMPING.
Please purchase a camping pass in addition to your festival pass.
Can we get our vehicles in and out of the campground if we want to leave during the festival?
There is no guarantee that you will be able to move your vehicle once you set up camp.
If leaving during the festival is a must, we suggest parking your car in the day lot for easy access to leave and return to the festival.
Can I camp with a single-day ticket?
Yes, if you purchase a single-day camping add-on.
Can we reserve a spot to camp with a group?
Yes. We now have a Group Camping add-on.
- Very Limited Opportunity!
- Secure a guaranteed camping spot with your crew (8-10 pp).
- 50’x50 space for your group site
- Three (3) Weekend Campground Parking Passes for either: One (1) Large Camper (RV, Gooseneck Camper, bumper pull) and Two (2) cars, or Three (3) cars.
- Groups purchasing multiple Group Campsites, we will be reaching out to you to ensure you are placed side by side.
- Festival pass and general camping pass are also required for all adults and youth.
What types of camping are available?
We have walk-in tent camping, car tent camping, and RV sites available.
Please view the Camping section on the Venue Information Page for more info.
Is parking included?
Yes, for all vehicles under 20′ in length, not pulling a trailer, camping is included in your festival pass.
For vehicles over 20′ and vehicles pulling trailers, an RV pass is required.
For single-day ticket holders who are not camping, parking is included.
Are there RV hookups?
No – all sites are primitive. Time to unplug, relax and enjoy nature and the music!
Can we use generators in the campground or RV area?
No. We keep our campgrounds peaceful and filled with the sounds of laughter and acoustic guitars, instead of the hum of gas generators. (Solar generators are welcome!)
Is there a family camping area?
We have a Family Campground. Please add a Family Camping pass (no extra charge) to reserve your spot.
- Add this to your order to camp in the Family Camping Area.
- Quiet hours daily will be from stop of music on the mainstage to 7am the next morning.
- There is no additional charge for family camping,
- Festival pass and general camping pass are also required for all adults and youth.
- Car/tent camping only.
- Limited amount available!
Do I need an RV pass for a boat/raft trailer?
No. We will accommodate you in the day-parking area. (you will likely have to unhook from your vehicle)
Ticketing FAQ:
Can we transfer or sell our tickets if we can't make it?
Yes, you can transfer tickets through the Humanitix ticket platform.
Please do not post tickets for sale on the Rhythms on the Rio Facebook Page or Group.
Our suggestion is that you post on your personal page, and list the tickets on CashOrTrade.org. It is free to use, and the platform is a safe place for tickets to be sold and exchanged between fans.
PLEASE BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! There are many people on social media claiming to have resale tickets. As far as we can determine, every single one has been a scam.
Will tickets be available at the gate?
We will have tickets available to purchase at the gate, while they last!
We strongly suggest purchasing tickets online before the festival, as we sold out at the gate last year!

Should we bring bikes?
YES! Del Norte, CO is surrounded by a wealth of trails for mountain biking and ultra-cycling, or just a leisurely spin through the beauty of the San Luis Valley.
Plus, while the downtown Del Norte area is a short walk from the festival, after dancing all day you might prefer a bike ride to a stroll!
